Senior Technical Artist
We are looking for: A strong technical artist who can manage the art pipeline of our games, create stunning VFX and eventually work on modelling/ rigging as we move towards more complex games. We offer creative independence and the ability to learn and grow your skills by having creative freedom and strong ownership over your domain. We want someone who can do hands-on work, is comfortable with art and programming, and can eventually grow into a leadership role within the studio. Responsibilities/ Domain:
• Game Art and code Pipeline: Set up and maintain the workflow of art production and Integration.
• Optimization: Intermediate to Expert level knowledge in Art optimization including particle system, shaders and, animation.
• VFX: Able to create Technical VFX inside game engine like Unity3D. • Rendering: Understanding of URP pipeline in unity3D along with PBR fundamentals.
• Connect: Be the bridge between the art and dev teams, adding value to the communication and promoting cross-collaboration
• UI: Understanding of Unity UI, UI integration and effects.
• Rigging and modelling: Model and rig 2D and3D characters using Application like Maya, Unity3D rig package and similar program.
Requirements:
• Min. 3-4 years’ experience as Technical Artist at a gaming studio
• Strong knowledge of Unity3D and/or Similar other game engines (Shaders/ Lighting/ VFX)
• Coding/ scripting experience
• Self-motivated, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• A passion for gaming
Bonus qualifications
• Rigging, animation and modelling skills
• Strong knowledge in 3DS Max and Photoshop
• Ability to generate assets using 3rd Party software (Houdini/ Subtance)
• Experience in shipping AAA or AA game titles
